The company raised $50 million of Series D venture funding in a deal led by ICONIQ Capital on July 17, 2018, putting the company's pre-money valuation at $450 million. Amasia, Andreessen Horowitz, Work-Bench, Section 32 and Scale Venture Partners also participated in the round. The company which has raised $120 million in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to strengthen and expand their conversational AI services to additional products, including enterprise video chat service UberConference and grow their headcount by 100 employees. In May, the company acquired TalkIQ to incorporate the latter's VoiceAI technology into UberConference, Dialpad phone replacement, and offerings for call center customer service agents.
